Providing Material for Disseminations

General Information

Advertisements are available in 3 sizes:

  • Double page (750 words or less)
  • Full page (300 words or less)
  • Half page (150 words or less)

What you need to send

1. Copy as a word document, should include your contact details, a heading and captions (if necessary) for your image/s. Do not exceed the recommended word count.

2. Image/s as HIGH resolution (300dpi) jpg, tiff or eps files saved for PC, sent as a separate attachment.

3. Logo, if you have one, also as a HIGH resolution jpg, tiff or eps file.

Images and logos must NOT be pasted onto word documents or taken from web pages.

Do not send copy by fax.

Full Page
210mm wide
270mm tall


Type Area
190mm wide
250mm tall

Full page:
210mm x 270mm (not A4)
(add 3mm to all sides for bleed).

Half page: 180mm x 120mm

Finished artwork should be sent via email as a print ready high resolution pdf file which is 1Xa compliant. There should be no spot colours. All images should be CMYK at 300dpi. All fonts should be embedded.

Five tips for an effective Parliament Magazine message

  • Keep to word limits – make your message focused.
  • If disseminating the results of an EU funded project, consider using bullet points and web addresses.
  • Give web-links for further reading or reports
  • Contact details – always give a phone number (with international code) and email address.
  • Follow the technical specifications for logos, pictures and design for an effective advertisement
