Celebrating Excellence in European Public Affairs

November 5th 2008, Vaudeville Theatre, Brussels

The European Public Affairs Directory Awards 2008

The EPAD Awards will highlight success and encourage best practice throughout the European public affairs community, bringing recognition to individuals, organisations, issues and campaigns.

Welcome to the inaugural European Public Affairs Directory Awards, which recognises and celebrates excellence within the European public affairs community. I am particularly delighted to launch these awards with the opening of nominations in 10 categories across the European public affairs industry.

Media Partner Public Affairs News, the European monthly business publication dedicated to those working in the public affairs industry, will run in association with The Parliament Magazine to provide news and information throughout the awards process. I strongly encourage everyone to become involved by nominating yourself or your colleagues, casting a vote and attending the gala evening.

As Dods European Publisher, I am proud to hold these awards, which will for the very first time recognise individuals, organisations, issues and campaigns across the European public affairs community. The gala awards cocktail and dinner will be held on the evening of the 5th November at the Vaudeville Theatre Brussels, where we expect an audience of over 200 senior public affairs in-house professionals. We anticipate a strong response and look forward to the EPAD Awards becoming the leading annual event in the European public affairs calendar.

I look forward to seeing you there.
