The Parliament Magazine is hosting a series of national debates across three of the EU's capitals (London, Paris and Bratislava) during 2010 to explore national cancer issues and developments. THe recommendations ensuing from the debates will be discussed at European level at a Brussels Summit on 2 December focusing on shared best practice which will assist EU decision makers with the ongoing health strategies.
The Bratislava event will be hosted with the kind support of Mr Mikolášik MEP and The League Against Cancer Slovakia.
The event will communicate the national strategy to promote prevention, earlier diagnosis, targeted treatment of cancer and psychosocial care and research to politiciians and stakeholders. It will identify further areas for action and throughout the presentations will introduce where appropriate the assistance that the EU will provisde. The recommendations will be published in The Parliament Magazine shortly following the debate.
