Externalactivities. The week beginning 27 July is set aside for MEPs to work intheir constituencies and for visits by Parliamentary delegations, sothere are no official meetings in Brussels.
 
A delegation from the International Trade Committee will be in Geneva for the World Trade Organisation ministerial meeting.
 
A delegation of MEPs will be travelling to Cambodia to observe the parliamentary elections of 27 July.
 
Funeralof Bronislaw Geremek.  EP President Hans-Gert Pöttering will attend thefuneral service of Bronislaw Geremek in Warsaw on Monday.
 
Belgian National Day.  Please note that Parliament’s offices in Brussels will be closed for the public holiday on Monday.
 
Summerrecess.  The break in Parliamentary activities over the summer beginson 28 July.  Business resumes on Monday 25 August with a week ofmeetings of committees and political groups ahead of the plenarysession beginning in Strasbourg on 1 September.
