MEP Awards 2008

This year’s Parliament Magazine MEP awards are set to be our biggest and best yet, as we look to develop the annual ceremony, now in its fourth year, as the consummate event celebrating the work and achievements of the European parliament.

After last year’s highly successful event we received a number of requests from MEPs and EU stakeholders asking if we could widen the scope of the awards.

In response we have created four new awards categories and developed a steering group of Brussels-based professionals to work hand-in hand with the Parliament Magazine to ensure that EU stakeholders are central to the nomination process.

As always, the Parliament Magazine’s MEP editor Catherine Stihler will be on hand to compère the show, kindly hosted yet again by the Renaissance hotel.

With state of the art widescreen coverage, special guests and a few extra surprises on the night, this year’s event will be unmissable for anyone who has an interest in the work of the European parliament.

Don’t forget to book the evening of October 8 in your diary and remember that the nomination site is now live, so log on now to put forward your favourite MEP of the year.
