Euralarm the Association of European Manufacturers and Installers of Fire and Security with the support of Geoffrey van Orden MEP – have launched the XPG (Cross Parliamentary Group).  The XPG platform is offered to all stakeholders of the Fire & Security industry.
Experts within the profession will be available for consultation on European issues and facilitate open communication lines between European Politicians and the wider world of Fire & Security.
The XPG will be the European conduit to lobby and discuss the interests of the Fire and Security industry with the Members of European Parliament and authorities within the European Commission.  Gustav Pfister President of Euralarm said.  “We feel that it will be in the best interest for our profession to offer the MEP’s a single of point contact”.  The aim of the XPG is to enlarge the Cross Parliamentary Group and be the recognized voice on behalf of the Fire and Security industry within the EU parliament, championed of course by Geoffrey Van Orden MEP.
