ATAG defines common positions on infrastructure andenvironmental issues and makes expert and constructivecontributions to the industry and governmental consultationprocess. By bringing together all air transport players worldwideand through the exchange of information and know-how, ATAG is in aunique position to make global industry recommendations. ATAG can,therefore, play an influential role in ensuring that aviation cancontinue to grow in a sustainable way according to market demandsand deliver the substantial economic and social benefits it bringsto the world.

How we work

ATAG has a worldwide mandate set by its funding members, and isactive at national, regional and international levels. By workingproactively and by representing such a broad spectrum of industryplayers, ATAG is recognised as a credible source of information,enabling it to better position air transport with governments,intergovernmental bodies and interested parties.

ATAG also organises highly-respected global events like the 2005and 2006 Aviation & Environment Summits (http://www.environment.aero/) ? the only event tobring together key decision-makers from throughout the entireindustry worldwide to discuss major environmental challenges.
