Welcome to Europarks
A body of amusement and leisure parks in the European tourismindustry
Founded in 1981 by the British association BALPPA and the Germanassociation VDFU, Europarks currently represents 9 nationalassociations of amusement and leisure parks and 2 individual memberparks in Europe.
Altogether Europarks represents approximately 300 parks andattractions, with an attendance of over 180 million visits peryear. To serve all those customers, the parks employ around 72.000men and women. Based upon global figures, the gross turnover ofthese parks amounts to some 5.500 million Euro.
To the individuals and organisations, involved in national andinternational tourist matters, Europarks offers information, basedon experience and knowledge in its field, such as safety,operations, guest relations, staff training and parkmanagement.
The interchange of ideas, personnel and experiences between themembers of Europarks ? in close cooperation with the InternationalAssociation of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) ? creates asolid basis for the sound development of the European Amusement andLeisure Parks.
