18 Case studies are to be undertaken throughout the course ofthe Project. The aim of the case studies is to bean important strategic policy informing tool in theorganisation. They are aimed at informing islanders butall key decision makers at a National, local and Europeanlevel. Case Studies can be viewed atwww.europeansmallislands.net
ESIN is continually expanding its membership. Thelatest Island-based representative organisations to join are theGreek Hellenic Small Island Network; Estonian Small Island Networkand Ancim ? The Association of Italian Small Islands. Alone the islands are small but together stronger and moreeffective. ESIN aims to truly represent the voice of the populatedsmall islands and the various constraints they face in maintainingpermanent resident populations.
