INES brings together a group of leading European experts in thearea of S&T, ethics and the relevant policy making community,to analyse comparatively the manner in which ethics is incorporatedand institutionalised within decision making structures

Aims and Objectives:

• Compare and contrast different forms of institutionalisation ofethics in policy making
• Identify gender issues relating to the incorporation of ethicsin S&T policy
• Identify best practices of incorporating ethics in decisionmaking
• Identify ways of assessing the impact of ethics in decisionmaking
• Create a pan-European dialogue
