The Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA),established on May 12, 1999, is an international non-profitorganisation connecting business and research communities inSlovenia with the EU institutions and other public and privatebodies at EU level.

Members of SBRA, both from the private and public sector,represent a wide-spectrum of Slovenian interests, particularly fromthe fields of business and research.

SBRA puts primary focus on issues common to all its members,such as knowledge-based competitiveness defined by the LisbonAgenda. Besides directly representing the interests of its members,SBRA also represents, at a more general level, the interests ofSlovenian business, SMEs and crafts, municipal and localcommunities, as well as farmers and their cooperatives.

All SBRA members are entitled to the regular services offered,moreover, they are also entitled to a quota of consulting hoursthat can be used for their own individual projects. Members provide60 ? 70% of the annual SBRA revenues, while the balance is fundedby SBRA project work.
