EU to investigate Italy Alitalia loan
The European commission is set to investigate an emergency €300m Italian government loan to the loss-making airline Alitalia, reports the FT.Irish budget airline Ryanair said on Thursday it would file a complaint about the deal, which would trigger action from the commission. Any state aid must be checked and approved by Brussels.
