More than a dozen EU countries have offered to waive costly visafees for Serbian citizens in a thinly veiled attempt topersuade the country's voters to choose a future with the west, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The gesture by 17 EU nations came on the heels of another effortto boost pro-western parties in Sunday's tight parliamentaryvote, it says.
