Macedonia and Montenegro recognise Kosovo independence
According to El País, Macedonia and Montenegro on Thursday joined the list of 48 countries that have recognised Kosovo’s independence.
The move leaves Bosnia-Herzegovina as the only former Yugoslavian country not to recognise Kosovo, which declared its independence last February. Serbia still considers the nascent state as a “rebel province”, says the paper.
