EU member states to take in up to 10,000 more Iraqi refugees
EU member states have said that they are ready to take up to 10,000 more Iraqi refugees, following appeals from the UN, reports the IHT.
Immigration ministers said on Thursday that they will send a mission to the Middle East, including Syria and Jordan, to identify the most vulnerable people, and will decide after the mission how many Iraqis they could take in for resettlement.
