French and Spanish truck drivers in fuel protest
The Franco-Spanish border has been blocked by truck drivers from both countries protesting about escalating fuel costs, Le Figaro reports.
Spanish unions began protesting over the weekend, blocking all truck traffic across the border, and the French protesters have come out in support of their colleagues and in order to “raise awareness” of the issue, the paper says.
The protests are the first of several planned this month.
