The EU chamber of commerce is calling on China to increase market access for European firms, reports the Irish Times.

According to the paper, the organisation launched a 650-page position paper saying that Beijing should make regulations more predictable.

President Jacques de Boisseson expressed his group's "frustration" with China's efforts on opening up the markets.

"We are asking for a level playing field, which is fair, transparent, provides the right information, and is predictable, because we need visibility and certainty towards the future," de Boisseson told reporters in Beijing.
