The European Regional
Champion Awards 2008
The European Regional Champion Awards unite Europe in celebrating achievement in all its regions. The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 19th November 2008 at The Committee of the Regions Head Office in Brussels. Over 400 senior figures from the CoR, the European Parliament and the Commission will be invited. The evening will be a celebration of the innovation and best practice the awards have showcased.
Awards Timeline
- Monday 9th June 2008 – Nominations open
- Friday 1st August 2008 – Nominations close
- Monday 22nd September 2008 – Shortlist announced and voting opens to all members of the Committee of the Regions
- Friday 24th October 2008 – Voting closes
- Wednesday 19th November – Evening awards ceremony
